Resolution and Presidency note on the Structured Dialogue with young people on youth employment
The Hungarian Presidency represented its Presidency note on the state of play of the Structured Dialogue on youth employment during the Belgian-Spanish-Hungarian Trio, between 01.01.2010-30.06.2011. In this note all the three EU Youth Conference conclusions, recommendations were inserted, without any modifications. The
Council and the representatives of the governments of the Member States also adopted the Resolution on the Structured Dialogue, which was prepared by the Hungarian Presidency and on the agenda in the recent months.
The Resolution also refers to and integrate the politica l outcome of the EU Youth Conference in Budapest 1-4 March 2011, which was jointly discussed and finalised between young people and decision-makers. Both lessons learned from the past almost 18 months and the policy priorities of the next Trio of Poland-Denmark-Cyprus between 1 July 2011 - 30 December 2012 are important part of the document. The next Trio will focus on youth participation as the overall topic, however it will be consulted under different aspects and priorities. The Resolution also indicates that the current and incoming Trio cycles of the Structured Dialogue should be evaluated by the Council in the context of the EU Youth Report to be presented by the Commission by the end of 2012.
